1. In roulette, there is not much you can do to change your odds, unlike a game that requires a lot of skill such as blackjack. Nowadays, choosing a European or French style table is the biggest advantage for you. They will get one zero, which gives the casino a 2.7% advantage. American style roulette has two zeros, which results in a casino advantage of 5.26%. This is a very big difference, so unless you want to lose money faster, use European or French tables with one green square or zero.
2. Roulette offers many different bets, but most of them have almost identical payouts. Betting simple “bets such as red/black, even/odd, etc.” is very easy in terms of overall success. The only exception is the American bet known as the “box” bet, which allows you to bet on both zeros and numbers from 1 to 3. Use this at all costs because it will give you a 7.89% advantage in the casino.
3. The best methods to reduce the casino advantage are available on French tables. La Partage rule is really useful. La Partage can return half of his stake in case the ball lands on a green zero during an outside bet (e.g. red or black, even or odd, etc.).
4. The EnPrison rule, which derives from the above and allows the bet to be left on the table for another spin, is another interesting feature of French tables. The 2.7% advantage becomes only 1.35% if you also have LaPartage and EnPrison. Watch out for French-style tables if possible, because this is the lowest roulette advantage.

5. When you play roulette, the simplicity of the game and the significant number of 50/50 bets make it easier to progress. Players who change their bet rather than playing with the same bet all the time helps them progress. The problem is that most of them tend to be good until the player hits a “bad streak”. Unfortunately, it would seem that this is not so unlikely. Even in a real 50/50 system, we might see a streak with seven losses being 1/128, and ten losses being 1/ 1024. Thus, you are likely to have a very bad streak if you play more than 1000 times. Most of the time progressive systems cannot handle these unfavorable streaks, and so most of them blow up sooner or later.
